Pasar Karat is a night market in the centre of Johor Bahru, also known as Bazaar Karat JB or Segget. The locals call it Segget because its located along Jalan Segget and Jalan Tan Hiok Nee, spilling over to adjacent streets.

For those who are not familiar with Johor Bahru, the main throughfare in Pasar Karat is actually Jalan Wong Ah Fook. Pasar Karat is somewhat hidden by the building along Jalan Wong Ah Fook.

Pasar Karat StallsPasar Karat is open nightly fromm about 7pm until about midnight. It is a popular spot for locals as well as tourists to shop for good deals. A variety of items are sold there such as preloved bags and clothes.

However, although it is considered a flea market, many of the items sold there are actually new. Furthermore, a mixture of old and new bundled clothes are also sold there.

Overall, there is something for everyone, young and old alike. Apart from plenty of clothes, there are also independent t-shirt sellers with unique designs, henna decoration service, vintage items ranging from old vinyls, posters, books and antique paraphernalia, plus a lot food & beverage stalls.

Location & Parking

You can park by the road side wherever there are spaces and as long as your parked car don’t obstruct the traffic flow obviously. The traffic police are quite lenient around Pasar Karat area usually. Though park at your own risk.
